I’m here to help you make the most of your time in Oxford!

I offer bespoke walking tours to suit all interests and ages. I’ve lived here for 30 years and love sharing my enthusiasm for our city’s fascinating history and culture, and revealing its hidden gems. I run a range of themed tours which bring to life the social, political and imaginative role that Oxford has played in the history of Britain, and the world.

I offer a range of general and themed historical tours: browse them here. I mainly run private tours but you can book on to any of my upcoming public tours here.

My own particular interests include Literary Oxford, Radical Oxford and Artistic Oxford including architecture, stained glass and the Pre-Raphaelites. I also lead Ghost Tours, Tolkien/CS Lewis/Inklings and Alice in Wonderland tours. Other specialisms I can cover include medieval Oxford, women’s history, Jewish history, religious history including John Wesley and Saint John Henry Newman, and the history of the Botanic Gardens.
